I recently joined the Friday yoga class. I have had back trouble for the past 15 years and my chiropractor recommended Pilates and Yoga to strengthen the back and core muscles.
I have really enjoyed the class and find it pushes my abilities and is building strength and flexibility. I can't do many of the poses/positions but each week it hurts less and I am able to do a little more.
I thank you for a wonderful class and all the care you provide for your students.

It is a heart felt honor to be Terri's "yoga student."  To me, she's a natural, inspirational teacher.
Terri emphasizes quality rather than quantity for all movements or asanas.
Terri says yoga has no ego, a non competitive spirit is very important as well.
As Terri narrates each asana and breath-movements, I've learned to mimic her, and trust her as I expand and grow in my practice.
Terri is an amazing yoga instructor. She studies and grows in her practice and then reaches out to teach. The rewards are great when you're ready for the teacher to come into your life. I know, it's been nothing short of a miracle for me, to experience a life transformation in body, mind and spirit.

Terri was my first instructor, and in the beginning I didn't appreciate how fortunate I was to have found her so early in my journey. Three years, and several instructors later I now know how lucky I have been. There are many good instructors out there, but Terri is the best I have studied under. She has always been very thorough in explaining and demonstrating the various stages of each of the asanas, and as her students progress, she is always there with encouragement and guidance toward the next step.

Each practice is a journey of its own, and each practice with Terri has been rewarding.

"When I started practicing yoga about two years ago at the age of sixty eight, I soon recognized I should have done this many years ago. I find this such a challenging physical and mental activity for health reasons. Yoga helps me deal with my neck and lower back discomfort.

Until recently, my schedule to practice yoga was irregular. Fortunately in November 2004 I reconnected with Terri, and since then it has become an enjoyable routine. Terri patiently takes me step by step through the many asanas and in the process I have become more flexible. Practicing at least three times a week under Terri's guidance has given me more strength and the desire to achieve higher goals.

I would like to thank Terri for her continuing encouragement and sincere interest in the people she teaches. Her professionalism and knowledge makes the ninety minute yoga practice a real rewarding journey and joyful experience."
